For many years Boo has been writing with and for other artists – in 1989 he released a whole album, Evidence, in collaboration with the American country singer Darden Smith – but towards the end of the Nineties he also began to write songs for and with pop artists. Amongst the many artists he has written for in this way are Natalie Imbruglia, Mel C and Alex Parks.

Over the past 20 years "The Wonder Stuff" have notched up 5 top 20 albums and played to hundreds of thousands of people throughout the UK and made 2 million sales worldwide. In 2007 the duo took to the road for a 6 week tour performing acoustic versions of old and new Wonder Stuff Songs.

Highway Dave and the Varmints! These guys take the roots of bluegrass, the twang of Nashville, and add the odd thrashville for good measure. Influences such as Johnny Cash, The Byrds and Steve Earle are all mixed up with some Worcestershire sauce, a helluva rhythm section, chicken pickin' licks and distinctive harmony vocals to produce supercharged country music for all music lovers.
